BRICK PAVERS ORDER FORM - pdf Document - ORDER NOW!
BRICK PAVER ICONS - pdf Document

Dear Fellow Parishioners,

I am delighted to inform you that work is nearly completed on one of the first projects outlined in our parish’s “To Teach Who Christ Is” campaign materials. The Wellington entrance to the church now has a handicapped-accessible ramp, as well as new stairs. Memorial bricks have been installed on the plaza area outside the doors. The 76th Court entrance’s ramp was widened by 3 feet, has new stairs, and also has memorial bricks installed on the plaza area. Temporary railings are outside both entrances while we wait for the design, fabrication, and installation of new railings. I thank you for your patience during construction.

Some of our parishioners had the ability to donate at least $1000 and will be receiving a complimentary 8”x8”. However, our parish is offering additional bricks for sale, giving all of our parishioners the opportunity to participate. An order form for these bricks could be printed out by CLICKING HERE or is also available in the church vestibules and at the pastoral center.

Bricks are available in three sizes: 4”x8”, 8”x8”, and 8”x16”. The costs for each brick are listed on the order form, along with the instructions. Up to two icons can be chosen at an additional charge of $10 each. Some icon choices can be found on the back side of the brick paver order form or in the Brick Paver Icons - pdf document. You may want to order a brick in memory of a loved one; to celebrate a special event in your life: a milestone anniversary, birthday, etc.; a sacrament received here at St. Celestine Parish, or for any number of reasons. Actual examples of engravings can be found on the bricks in front of the school at 3017 N. 77th Avenue.

Please complete the order form and return it to the Pastoral Center. if you’d like to order a memorial brick now; checks can be made payable to St. Celestine Church. You may also drop the order and payment into the collection basket in an envelope marked “Memorial Bricks”. The sooner the responses are returned, the sooner the engraved bricks can be installed. I am hoping the first group of engraved bricks will be installed before the end of November 2016. We will be offering opportunities to purchase memorial bricks at least twice a year. If now is not a good time to participate, perhaps you can plan on a future purchase.

This is a very exciting time for St. Celestine Parish, and I thank you for all of the support you have shown to the parish throughout the years. If you have any questions about this project, please do not hesitate to contact Nancy Mueller, our business manager, at 708-453-2555 or email her at nmueller@stcelestineparish.org.

Most gratefully,
Fr. Paul Cao, Pastor
